Spider's and Pranks!

Teighlor's letter for the past couple of week's...

Mama,

Glad to hear y'all updating the house with out me :)
And quite complaining about waking up early to drive to seminary :P You have kids who soon have license to drive themselves. :)  (mom insert - I wasn't complaining, I was merely stating that I realize I have early morning seminary for the next 16 years straight, no break.  Taiason may or may not get her license before she graduates and then can we afford insurance, but then she graduates and Jaemyn starts the next year, so I am the driver again. :)  BUT...I am not complaining, I am thankful they have the opportunity to attend seminary and gain this wonderful gospel lead education)
That really sad we lost (mom insert - they did not win the Golden Mop award this last cleaning inspection, but they were close and even took "winner's photos" just in case) and our apartment was new. Well sorta...rumors say a dead lady lived here.  I don't know how though, she just randomly died.  Anyways, a small linking story; Last night (Sunday night) me and the sister's couldn't sleep  so we shared stories till we got to scary stories and Sis Stevenson turned on the light leading to the bathroom.  I came up with a devilish plan for revenge of Nerf gun shooting at me (story later on). I turned off all the lights and with my flashlight off I waited for her to come out of the bathroom.  When she did, I turned on my flashlight and screamed scaring her, I thought she screamed like a boy ;) it was so worth it, even when out of reflex, hit me in the arm. lol
Anyways, back to the cleaning, we washed and dusted the Monday after transfers and took us 5 hours or more.  We washed walls, dusted, deep refrigerator cleaned and more. (mom insert - she told me that they forgot to dust the blinds on the windows and that is why they didn't win).
Right now the lawn men are air-blowing, mowing and grass cutting the yards, it is really hard to focus. ;)
I haven't had much "southern" food, but people here can make better hamburgers than McDonald's plus bigger and cheaper :) with fries included.  I had Turkey neck, it was so disgusting looking, but tasted really good. Sis Johnson (a samoan sister) fed us last night and made chop suey and some banana meal.  I liked the chop suey, tasted like one of your meals, but I didn't care for the banana dish. :/
Have I ever told you about a kitty that sneaked into our house? I gotten surprised too and decided to teach the cat. :) It was Purrfect! Till the cat rebelled and kick that cat out! :) (mom insert - not sure how the kitty rebelled, but I am SURE she didn't actually "kick" the cat, haha)
One of our investigators finally texted us when we couldn't find her and told us she was moving away and restarting her life and that we had inspired her ;)
I will share one spiritual moment. This was with Sis Brimley before she was transferred and Sis Stevenson and I.  We were tracting in the rain and came to a house and knock. A lady opened the door and asked is we are there to meet Mrs Wallace. We said yes and she let us in.  Mrs Wallace, who is very old and frail, couldn't walk or hear unless you are really close and speak loudly.  Thankfully she had a sister who happen to just pass away and we taught her the Plan of Salvation.  She sorta accepted it. ;)  Then her grand-daughter was there and went WILD! So we did half plan and resto :)  Felt good with a strong spirit. (mom insert - I am sure she didn't mean she was glad the woman's sister died, lol...but that they had something to connect with her that would hopefully help her and make sense.  And as far as the grand-daughter going "WILD", I asked for clarification, but I am thinking she got excited.  I am also assuming the "half plan and resto" is the mixed the teaching with part of the Plan of Salvation and a little of the Restoration.)
On Tuesday we went to Sonic cause we had a card from a member and apparently this morning when I wasn't around, the car was "webbed" by a spider during our sleep, so we have no clue where the spider is at. :(  But I assumed that it must be dead somewhere and boy was I WRONG! Sis Stevenson list up her seat head thing and the spider was there.  We took a solid hour to get rid of the monster and Sis Stevenson ended up with a bloody nose.  Since we were at Sonic we think there is a bad spirit there playing jokes on us, lol....between the spider and the bloody nose.  Just kidding.  Well sorta...our bad Mojo Badjo didn't stop there.  We went to an investigators house and discover it was flea infested, we rad trying to get them off of use and some followed us to the car and our house (slowly they are dying off).  So we had been "fleaed" and then as we tracted for new people to teach the Gospel to, everyone said "no" :( and then it rained on us, we ran back to the car but sadly we walked away from it so far and had trouble.  The rain was getting  worse every minute and our prayers (possibly in our heart or blessing) came when the last lady who husband was a preacher drove up and yelled to get in and drove us to our car. :)  My little sacrifice was losing my watch, :( possibly from slinging my backpack to quick that it must've broke off and I didn't notice till I looked for it to find the time. :/
So October 1st was not a good day for us.  The next day we had our DDM (district meeting) we went to a restaurant called Johnny Pizza, kinda like Cici's Pizza but not as much variety and no spinach pizza, but still worth it. ;)  We met Jimmy and his son Trey.  Trey really loves Jesus and when we came in he was intrigued and wanted to learn more.  We jumped for joy possibly praying he be converted with his so many questions he had and listened to  "I am on top of the World" (one of Sis Haviland's CD's, I made a copy :)
For General Conference, Mama Shirley joined us and we were so happy and prayed it will help her know what she must do, cause these past lessons she thinks she received the Holy Ghost and been requesting she receive the Holy Ghost and not be counted as a member, so we will see her tonight.  IF she doesn't change, we may sadly have to drop her for a while, (actually these past days we been dropping people like crazy or they drop us :(  And Christine, our star pupil in the gospel is still missing :(
I have been having extra strong cramps, Sis McDonough thinks it is part of the stress of Missionary life.  I will make an appointment with a Dr. But keep me in your prayers.
This morning Sis Haviland surprised me and threw a bouncy ball at me and I caught it and and shocked her so Sis Stevenson attack me and I ran into the bathroom and lock it and heard them getting more bouncy balls and moving stuff around.  After a few minutes of silence I came out and was attacked by bouncy balls and Nerf gun that Sis Haviland own.  I grabbed a huge ball and blocked the attack. :) lol
Well I better go, there is never enough mail, so keep mailing like crazy!  Love you!
Love your Missionary.
