Picture story

This week I mainly got pictures with a story line, that's ok, it is has been fun to see what she is doing.  One thing I did ask her is how she and her companions are doing.

Me and my companions are doing very well :) Even though we did had our ups and downs especially since Sister Brimley and Sister Stevenson know each other longer than me, I have been left out and feeling lonely and nearly wanted to come home cause of that. Cause I felt if my mission was just gonna be my life this I should be here in the first place, till I finally had privacy to call Sister McDonough and talk to her about my problems which led to that I need to talk to them, then I was caught (mom insert - caught by her Sis companions while talking to Sis McDonough - took me a while to figure that out) they let me finish my conversation and we had a huge talk about it. So far we been a lot better, Sister Brimley joins my work outs and  I was wondering, can you print our my Cardio and more workouts for me in my pinterest :)  (mom insert - sounds like a normal start to a mission, I am glad all is working out)

Teighlor sent Tariyah and drawing and Tariyah colored it

These were the prettiest view of the clouds

The school where the Duck Dynasty kids attend

Our meeting, being silly :D

The letter was a rejected Letter that an investigator wrote to us outside their door and sadly spelled Mormon wrong. They spelled Mormon as Moron, lol...it was the silliest and awkward thing that ever happen to me so far.  I don't know aobut the Sisters but to me that was the silliest rejections I have ever had other than the harsh rejections we been having yesterday. :)

Our District Photo
Elder Graham, Sister Brimley, Sister Stevenson, Elder Hanson and Sister Cole

The dog was a runt who belongs to our part-member family who we are trying to convert the wife cause she want to be sealed to her husband on their 10th anniversary which is next year :/ We better get her baptized cause she can't go in the temple till she been a member for a year so she can be sealed.

Mama Shirley we call her, feeding us; a wonderful woman who not a member but loves the gospel, only thing she doesn't want to leave her church, same thing like Beatrice all over again :/

Ok, I learn to never starighten my Hair,
cause I look like a chinese boy band member,
how their hair styles have been lately and
never again am I doing it :(

This was a sadly deadest and heartbroken American Flag I have ever seen while knocking on peoples doors :(

A beautiful view of a lake on the outskirts of Bastrop

One word NEVER LET US COOK FISH AGAIN!!!!
We went crazy and didn't know how to cook fish; I put Lemon Pepper (mine was the griller), Sister Stevenson did BBQ in her fish in the skillet pot and Sister Brimley did the flat pan with lemon juice :) all tasted great but we got full after :(

Idk, I thought I would show you I still get my silly's on. :D

Mission Life

I think this is the most detailed letter yet, YAY!!  Enjoy...

"I thought I have been telling you about my mission but I guess I hadn't :(. Mom my Mission life here is crazy and I really miss you guys but everyday I pray to be a stronger young women and move on life as a missionary for Jesus Christ.
Everyday we have to wake up at 6:30 am to work out and we run but for me who cant run continually as the other sister do, I walk and fast walk. and with some time Planking I get so exhausted I barely have the hungry stomach to eat :(.
I have seen so many Blessing and One of them is the beautiful support from my loving family and hearing their beautiful letter and seeing them. The pictures you have sent made me smile every waking morning to see them right were I can look at all of your beautiful faces before I see my companions faces :).
So many things have happen I am gonna try to squeeze them all since again apparently I hadn't talk much about my mission to you guys as I thought I did :/.
We been having trouble with our recent investigators who knows that this is the true gospel but only want to be baptized and receive the Holy Ghost, BUT now become a member and still attend their church and yea. :( And we have explain many time that it is a "Package Deal" that it is a sacrifice to leave everything they loved and to be closer to him. But everyday we have some who knows that it what they have to do to receive the true gospel that they really love what we have taught.
I want to share that some who had a priesthood blessing gotten stronger but we discover there a few let go like smoking or coffee for some of our investigators who we almost baptized but we notice, and sorrow our hearts we have to move there baptism to fix that little problem.
I want to share about the abandons pets here though :(. So many stray cats and few dogs like in our area we live in those floor ground apartments and people there don't really mind the stray kittens and 2 dogs we have cause they take turn leaving food for them and the kitten come up and purr on our legs :). SO CUTE!!!! We have been fed and care of by some members mainly 3 families cause nobody in the church like "need us" in a way where we aren't like "bonding" with them and we are gonna fix that so we can bond with more members instead of the Relief Society Pres, the Odons, and Johnston. The Relief Society Pres wanted to be friends with you on Facebook so we can be in touch better :) Her name Stacy Togaga'e I think that how you spell it? her Husband nearly looks like Bapa :/ I know I know but really he does same skin color near face expression and yea.
lol He had a funny face when i sorta "think" out loud :)
I receive the whole family mail and I couldn't stop smiling I reread them and laughed so much when Aaliyah called me "ELDER Teighlor" that the sister joined me and I showed them each of my sibling who wrote to me :). and I wanted to ask can I have family Emails??? I love to write or try my best :) I written a letter to meema to send me pictures of the other side of the family just to hang up on the Wall and smile too :)
Mom I wanna say I am grateful to have you as a Mom and I know I have done wrong things to make right and I really love you :) SOOO MUCH I EVEN CRY WANTING MY MAMA! Lol even sister Stevenson does those "your mama" not joke like "well your mama crazy" and I respond " that is you sister stevenson" cause I know your are crazy but I will not have anyone talk bad to my physical mama (mom insert - I think they are a bunch of silly girls teasing each other as siblings would :) cause I love you sooo much and the mail you sent about the black-out made me laugh cause in my first week into my mission we had a blackout and thankfully my flash light was right by the phone that glows against the dark and we were able to get it before the phone light was out and grabbed more flashlight till it was time for bed we had the light off though incase the power back on and disturb our sleep cause we only have exactly 8 hours of sleep or maybe a few mins depending how everyone wakes up. And saying how sick Jaemyn and Tairyah got made only me laugh cause the Sister got sick and I am completely healthy and they are slowly coming around too so pray for them mostly and me too so I can enjoy my mission and share more stories. But time is slowly up I have nearly 6 mins and I gonna be a scatter brain :( NOOOOOO I have so much to SHARE!!!!!
I love you and Keep mailing and loving me :)"

I got this from Teighlor's RS president in Bastrop.  It is good to see the Sister missionaries having fun.

A bit of News!

I finally got a couple of short letters from Teighlor.  Seems like it has been hard for her and I to get into this new routine. :)
I did send her a box for her "Greenie" days of being a new missionary, she seemed to really enjoy that.  It was fun to find all the "green" items for her to enjoy.
Here is a little bit of her new letters:
"I happily received your packages! Who brilliant idea was it? (mom insert - it was  pinterest :) Especially my favorite colors! Green! I am excited to eat those jello tonight!
To answer your questions:
1. Yes I have cook yet, but not meals yet :( but I will!
2. Members are not doing so good, but spiritually awesome & they do feed us :)
3. My companion are good but we do have huge opposites (mom insert -  I told her this was normal and part of the positive thing of going on a mission, it will help her learn how to live with someone and be able to work through things.)
4. What I like about my mission is food. But I am strong! to say No!

I slowly sounded southern but have some of my tongue :) so I sound ridiculous.
We are in a poor area and a lot of the people drink and smoke a lot.  I'm scared I will come home with cancer from 2nd hand smoke. :)
We have 7 baptismal dates, 2 of them will officially be baptized while 5 of them we are still struggling with. :/  They believe our word and what we teach them and they want to be baptized but they still want to continue to go to their church because of family and friends.

My companions have been sick the past couple of days.  Sis Stevenson was studying to become a nurse before she came on her mission.  She wanted to check out my throat because she forgot what a healthy one look like, ha ha...she looked at her throat in the mirror and doesn't think she has strep, so that is good.

So far I have eaten sandwiches (ham and turkey), PB&J, & chicken. Nutella a treat on Saturday only, breakfast is cereal (Honey Bunches of Oats) or a Bagel with cream cheese. Dinner is chicken or a spinach salad.  These past day we been fed by members and they shower us with leftovers, which I am grateful for, cause I sadly spend $100 on my first week. But I feel like with leftovers & possible 3 wks of "my" food, I am golden YAY!

How the house looking? How is my Layla (the dog)? And Aamerik?

Love your missionary.
